Most voters "favor arresting pro-Palestinian protesters who occupy buildings," according to the results of an RMG Research poll posted on X by pollster Scott Rasmussen on Wednesday.

"71% of voters favor arresting pro-Palestinian protesters who occupy buildings," Rasmussen wrote. "If schools can't/won't protect Jewish students, 65% favor sending in national guard to do so. Survey of 1,000 RV conducted April 29-30 by RMG Research.

Pro-Palestine protests have escalated on Columbia University's campus. New York City police arrested about 100 people who planted themselves inside Hamilton Hall on Tuesday.

According to the polling firm's official website, "RMG’s Counterpolling technique is a system for asking questions in the language of everyday Americans. This approach surfaces the gaps—often huge—between the political elite and the nation they are supposed to serve."
